Nikos Xylouris moved from the Island of Crete to Athens - the town which some have the opinion drove him to his death. He came to Athens during the period of dictatorship. His voice, his moral (ethos) in very short time brought him beyond the compass of a mere interpreter in Greece, his voice was tied with the students Polytechnical uprising. His voice went abroad, overseas.<br /> The French Musical Academy has honored him with the first reward. A Japan journalist, of the national radio, heard his voice and searched for him. He finally found him in Athens with his camera and full team. The largest part of the film was shot in Athens. In a big effort tracing the lost innocence of a hero (era) under the overspreading of layers speeches, music and cement of the town. The three poems that heard during the film are poems of Alexis Aslanoglou.<br /> For the first time in Greece, a unique tribute to the unforgettable Nikos Xylouris!
